As part of her administration’s priorities for 2021, EBR Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome has announced a concerted effort around reducing litter and blight in the parish. Join BRAC and its Quality of Place Committee as she discusses the elements of that plan, and how the business community can engage.

Since 2016, BRAC’s Quality of Place Committee has advocated for transformational initiatives related to the region’s quality of place and quality of life. Chief among concerns voiced by the business community has been the physical appearance of the region, long marred by blight and litter, and the negative impact it can have on business growth and talent retention and attraction. Through innovative partnerships and a renewed commitment to collaboration, Baton Rouge can become a clean and beautiful place to live and work.
